A devout parishioner of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City, Cheryl was deeply rooted in her faith. She was an active member of the Ladies Sodality and dedicated over 30 years to teaching PSR and RCIA classes, guiding both adults converting to Catholicism and children beginning their faith journey. Her extensive collection of crafting supplies ensured that future generations could continue her creative legacy. Her presence in her children's lives was omnipresent, whether volunteering as a room mother at school, leading Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, or chauffeuring her children to sporting events. Cheryl never missed an opportunity to support her children. Known as the ultimate party planner, Cheryl loved to gather and celebrate life's moments. Despite her busy schedule with church events, sporting activities, and parties, her true focus was always on family. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
